Recap: I am in fact human. It seemed too easy. Hitting that first 8×4 and then seeing Dallas up three with five minutes left is a brutal loss. Not to mention being up 4-1 in the first and then also losing in the final minute of the game and not getting an empty net goal. Looking at the good side of things is that I am glad this bad beat happened on the first leg. And hey let’s get the bad karma out of the way early and right after a huge win. I took yesterday off to just rest the mind and get it prepared for another week of some great picks.
Round 1: Great sports day today. The final March Madness game is today and having a 9/1 slip on Kansas is nice. Trying to convince myself not to hedge but it will be a game time decision. I think because I have that future I am going to stay away from putting more money on it. I am going back to something that has had overall success. I know it failed in the last pick but it took a lot for that pick to fail. We are going to be betting on hockey. Not only hockey but as usual a favorite’s puck line. The Boston Bruins are right now in the wild card spot but should be looking to try and move up in the standings. Columbus has nothing to play for and will get swept in the back to back. Bruins -1.5 is the pick. It was between this and the Flames -1.5. I like both but I like the Bruins slightly more here.
