Day 29

Record: All Time 20-10 8×4 3-10 Cash Flow +1,651

Recap: Listen, that Padres bet was a little weird. I mean we were up 9-1 and yet I still didn’t feel safe. And it wasn’t safe. I mean that 9th inning was very worrisome. Once that solo hr happened I thought it was over. I could see the bad beat. It should have never gotten to that but that’s baseball. For some reason I felt very unsafe being 9-1 and if it was 10-1 I would have felt like it was over. There is something about hitting double digits that just makes you feel a lot more comfortable about winning. That is just one of those weird betting logics that doesn’t make much sense but also makes a lot of sense. Even with a bad Musgrove game too we won which is nice. I mean the Reds stink but they were still putting up runs. Betting against the Reds is a pretty simple formula but they didn’t look as bad as they usually do yesterday. So I will have caution betting against them in the future. At least on offense they were actually able to score.. Now we just need one more pick. One more bet to make all of this worth it. Please. We need this. One more time.

Round 4: This is it. I need this. I need this bad. But shit today’s board looks rough. Found one spot I like. We are sticking with baseball. No time for hockey now with too many teams already locked in the playoffs. I mean I have never and will never gamble seriously on the NBA. If you seriously bet on the NBA you are a certified maniac. So those two are out of the question. That leaves us with America’s pastime. I mean round four bets are always nerve-racking. All the hard work and dedication put in for this bet and the past three are all on the line. We are going with world champs. The Braves. Braves have been slow this season but this series is a spot where they look to sweep and get back in form. It’s the second game of the series and the Braves win this one big at home. The Cubs aren’t looking to win this year and they historically suck in Atlanta. I like the pitching matchup. Morton is a winner and has a good outing. He hasn’t been great this season but that was against great teams and not the Cubs. Leiter Jr. sucks and will suck today. I don’t understand how they start him. If the Braves don’t score runs on him then their season is over. At the end of the day we are betting on the world champions at home vs a team in the process of a rebuild. And I feel good about that. The Braves have to win. I need them to win. And win big. Please. Please win.
