Recap: Morale is at an all time low. The Yankees offense just didn’t show up. Cole was great but only two runs from the Yanks. Too many runners left on base. Brutal loss. I want this to end. I need something to change. I am picking the right teams, they just don’t do enough to cover. Ever since that Braves loss I have not been consistent. I have been lost. I did some research and soul searching on what I should do. I needed to change the Karma. I didn’t want to do a palm reading yet. Did not have the energy to do feng shui. No cash to give to a panhandler. I settled with a fortune cookie simulator. I refreshed the page 8 times for even better luck and I got, “You learn from your mistakes… You will learn a lot today.” Never betting on the Yankees. I think I have learned that today. Now we have good juju. Tomorrow is our day and this week is our week. If this doesn’t work then I will do something more extreme. I really need the money for rent soon so I am in desperate need for a win.
Round 1: Good Vibes. Need good vibes. Going with basketball. I need to hone in on this pick. I can feel my luck turning around. I don’t know why but I am feeling great about this week. We are going with an unconventional pick. I usually stick with teams that are heavy favorites. I usually never go with underdogs. But we are today. I mean they aren’t insane underdogs but they are still getting a point so technically underdogs. We are going with the Celtics. I think this series goes seven. I think this is a must win game for them. They should have won game three. A lot had to go wrong for them to lose that game. I just think Giannis has to be tired and this Celtics team has enough players to score in so many different ways. They play tremendous defense too. This is a do or die situation for the Celtics. They come out firing and they get the win they needed to get in Milwaukee. The stats are backing this pick up too. I am afraid of a Giannis takeover but I just think he can’t do it in back to back games. Tatum went 4-19 last game and that will not happen again tonight. Good energy, good stats, good luck. It has to be a winner.
