Lunch Break Lock

Record: 124-112-3 (+4.9 units)

Recap:

Winner. Saved. Fucking saved. This one was in the shitter with a minute left. I can’t believe it got home. I thought I was cursed. I was keeping track of the other game and wanted to die, knowing it was going under while I was here sweating this shit. I needed a full minute with no basket to end the game. A full minute. I can’t believe I got it. To be honest, it really shouldn’t have even come to this. The pace was great the entire game, but then both teams got hot at certain points, and it fucked me. The start of the game was perfect, but then shots started to fall, and I was in a sweat. It started to slow down again in the first half, but in the final minute, neither team could miss, putting up nine points in fifty seconds. I knew it was going to be a sweat in the second half. The only thing keeping me positive was knowing Tennessee would kill off a lot of the clock, and I would just need a minute or two of zero points. I didn’t think, however, that one of those minutes would come in the final minute. It was truly outrageous that this dogshit Kentucky team was still fighting down 15 in the final three minutes. Loser shit. I’ll give Pope the benefit of the doubt since it’s his first year at Kentucky, but lose with class, fuckhead. He was calling timeouts late, knowing he was about to lose, and I thought there was no chance I had this. Then, absolute magic in the final minute. Kentucky missed. Clock ran. Another miss. I knew Kentucky was going to put up one more shot—but then they lost the ball. Tennessee was about to put it back in on the final possession, but thank fuck they ran it back out. The sweat of all sweats. I needed this one bad. I deserved this one with the pace. Every under hit today, and this one was the hardest—but it doesn’t matter, because it hit. Did I bet every under? Why, of course not, because I am a fucking brain-dead idiot. This isn’t about the other games, though. I got this win. No complaints. I need this one to keep me going. I want more. More. More. End the tourney hot.

Lock: Texas Tech U75.5 1.3u to win 1.1u

Groundbreaking Analysis:

I’m going with a team total. I’m increasing the units on Saturday once again. I love this one. Texas Tech is on borrowed time. They aren’t winning this game. They’re going to be exhausted—not just from an overtime win but also from having the later game. We’ve seen what Florida can do. They play defense, and they’re going to be all over Texas Tech. Watching Tech, I haven’t been impressed by their offense at all. They needed a miracle comeback to beat Arkansas, and they didn’t go off in the first two rounds. Florida is a much better team than Arkansas. And while they haven’t always looked perfect in the tournament, their defense has. They’ve also faced much better competition compared to Texas Tech. This Florida team is battle-tested and should be able to shut down Tech. I also love how they’ve been slowing the game down a bit in the tournament compared to the regular season. I love this Florida defense. They are going to shut down this Texas Tech team, who shouldn’t even be here. This is safer than the under because Florida has a deep enough bench that can shoot. I could see an 88-70 win. Give me a Florida defensive blowout. Under. Under. Under. For Underia. 🏴

Unbiased Stats:
