Lunch Break Lock

Record: 2-2-0 (-0.2 units)

Recap:

Loser. Never had a chance. It was shit. I hate shitting on my team too but they were awful again tonight. They are really slumping. I though they could break the slump with a mediocre pitcher but they couldn’t. Two strikeouts in the first inning and it was toast. It was dead after that and I gave up all hope. I mean Freeman and Ohtani both struck out chasing way outside of the zone and it was unbelievable. They are so bad right now. Ohtani also didn’t just have one bad strikeout but he had two and chased every fucking pitch. Everyone else was pretty mediocre. I know he had eight but I think those two strikeouts to start the game really set the tone and I was fucked. Gray was confident and pitched a pretty solid game. It was a bad bet. It wasn’t good at all. I have to be better. This is the preseason before football starts and I want that cushion of units before it begins. Fuck.

Lock: Athletics/Nationals NRFI 1u to win 0.9u

Groundbreaking Analysis:

We are back to the NRFI. I love this one. I love the pitching matchups. These two pitchers have pitched really well against the top of the order on both teams. I think Gore is solid enough to get the job done here and continue his dominance against the top half of the order. Severino is a vet and knows how to pitch against these guys which he has already done really well. It is as simple as that. These pitchers know their spots against these guys. I also like how the Athletics had to go from west to east on a day off which should affect their rhythm. I love this NRFI. This is a perfect spot for a NRFI. Give me this under. Under. Under. Under. For Underia 🏴

Unbiased Stats:

Severino has shutout the first inning in 5/L6

Athletics have been shutout in the first inning in 4/L6

Nationals have been shutout in the first inning in 5/L6
