What a game! I mean that was some good football. Especially for TNF. And I hit a bet on the last drive. These primetime games have to get better. I can’t believe I have to watch Wilson again this week. Like why can’t they just flex him out of every primetime spot. I do wonder who will be in the league longer, Wentz or Fields? Wentz is going to be a veteran backup sonn but who knows what Fields is going to be. Either way I am glad they both are on their way out of the league. And thank God for that Fields run. Not betting on just his rushing yards was looking like a mistake. Needed it.
Gambling thoughts I need to tell myself in the future:
Maybe I should just take the normal props? Not a longest play prop? Maybe? It did hit but fuck was that way way to close. Comms and Bears both stay in the DNB status.

Another smart move of taking a day off.
Saturday
What a pick. An outright winner. Finally hitting three bets in a row. What a journey. That game was never in doubt. Levis was out for a second which was a little scary but came back in and dominated thank God. An absolute destruction of Mississippi State. The journey to finally getting a winner. Never easy. But more will come. The journey from having to watch the Raiders stop Carr from throwing, to Fields getting his rushing yards on the final drive. Every second was worth it now.

Sunday
Another Dog Sunday. Another Sunday I picked a heavy favorite. And of course they lose outright. An insane NFL Sunday across the board. I was still hungover from finally winning yesterday so I shoulda expected a seven point favorite loses outright. I should not have expected to keep winning. Not only that but it was a very very rough 24hrs right after the progressive win. USC loses and even though I am now a minimal USC fan I still root for the PAC 12. Dodgers then blew a 3-0 lead and lost a series to a divisional rival after they were up a thousand games on them in the regular season. I mean baseball needs to change the playoff structure it fucks the better team with a break and fucks them with the home and away situation. It is just a fact. Then the Chiefs lost and it does suck that they lost. Essentially two games back from the bye. Even though I am in my darkest place when they lose the game, it made me more confident for January. We only lost by one possession without Gay, Mcduffie still isn’t back, we had rookie CB’s, Butker missed, and this same exact thing happened last year. So yeah I am super depressed and in complete darkness and lost every but it will turn around.

It was a dog Sunday. Difficult to win. But no one in the NFL is good. I have to stick with narratives and not my brain. I will also never bet on a team giving more than 6 ever again. This league is the hardest to bet on and it shows week after week or it could just my stupid gambling decisions.
Monday
I still believe this was the right pick. And even though it wasn’t, it was worth every penny. Russell Wilson had five completions in 3.5 quarters. hahahahaha . He was back for one quarter. 10/10. 10 for fucking10. And in a second it was over. This is the most perfect QB/HC combo in the league. Hackett had such a great game plan for one quarter. Then it was gone. Hackett the rest of the game decided that the short passing plays were going too well. And then decided run run pass for every fucking drive so fucking predictable. Russell had such a great first quarter too. Then he decided every pass had to be over 30 yards and instead of checking it down or throwing it away he took a sack every fucking time. Russell Wilson in the pocket was the best. Half a second in and he is running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Unbelievable. By the end of the fourth you just had to laugh off the loss. Only way to cope. The only excuse for Wilson was that the Chargers dominated TOP. The Chargers were kings of getting 3rd and 9’s and then would get 10. But just hilarious. 10 completions in the first quarter. 5 in 3.5 quarters after. Fantastic. A hilarious game and from a Chiefs standpoint even funnier knowing how many people had these teams winning the AFC West.
