Lunch Break Lock

Record: 64-54

Nobody Cares Now Recap:

I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH!!!!!! A little scary. Stroman was lights out but Abbott giving up a double to the first batter wasn’t fun. Luckily we were saved by bad batting. God bless. Needed that one bad. Now it’s time for a run.

Lock: Mets/Royals NRFI

Groundbreaking Analysis:

This is my kryptonite. The Mets are the worst first inning team in the league but every time I bet them they score a run. I trust Greinke though. The vet has helped me in the past and he has pitched phenomenal in the first inning this season. Quintana is on the mound which is a little sketchy since he is coming off an injury but I love it. He pitched lights out last season in the first and I expect him to be relaxed pitching against the shit Royals tonight. He is 1/2 this season in shutting out the first and that percentage will get better tonight. Please send some PLP.

Unbiased Stats:

Greinke has shutout the first inning in 17/20 games this season

Quintana shutout the first inning in 27/32 games last season

Mets are averaging 0.21 runs in the first inning away this season

Royals are averaging 0.43 runs in the first inning this season
