Recap: Listen, that one was too easy. With Kershaw on the mound and the offense the doyers have it is too simple. Kershaw pitched great, which was expected and needed. The Doyers put that Padres team to bed early and in the first five innings. It was never a sweat. The Doyers are probably the best team in baseball and it will be tough finding a team that will be able to stop them. That division is by far the toughest division in baseball. Could easily see both wild card teams be from this division. Now we go to round two. Need this 8×4 bad. Real bad.
Round 2: I am going to do something that has not been done before. We are taking the same team on back to back days. I know this is a homer pick but it is a small board today. Only one NHL game and not that many baseball games. I was thinking of going with Scherzer and the Mets but the travel is a bit further than what I would have liked. With Walker Buehler starting too this Doyers team should destroy the Diamondbacks. Kelly has been looking great recently but this is the game that gets away from him. Doyers offense is too much for this team. Buehler puts up some K’s. The Doyers win big. Simple. At least it should be. I hope it is. Please.
