Recap: Listen, that one was kinda easy. I guess? The pace was looking good for the entire game. The live total was never under ours which was nice. It got a little scary in those last five minutes. Both teams looked like a train wreck and I could see the miracle under forming. But luckily it didn’t. Great way to start as it was pretty smooth sailing. Also, with it being a basketball bet it gives us some variety in the 8×4. I feel that switching between sports gives us some sort of edge on fading the upsets. No science behind that, just gamblers logic. We need another big one today. I picked this spot last night as it looked too good to be true. Let’s sail on with another lock.
Round 2: Back to baseball. Only one basketball game. I still can’t trust the NHL. So that really only left baseball. This game I feel really good about. Which is scary. This pitcher is an ace. Like an actual ace not like Morton. Never forget Morton. That pitcher is Alex Wood. The pick is Giants -1.5. The Nationals suck. Like really fuckin suck. They are on a 8 game losing streak. I don’t think Wood will break the streak. Also, flying east to west on 0 days off doesn’t help either Against a home team with rest as well. This team will be asleep by the time the game starts tonight. They come out slow and tired and this Giants team puts up runs early. Sanchez is not a good pitcher and did not have much success against the Giants in their previous series and that will continue tonight. I mean this matchup seems very smooth and simple. Only thing worrisome is that the Nationals have to break the losing streak at some point. I just really don’t think it will happen tonight. At least I hope. Giants win big. They have to win big. I need them to win big.
