Love this one. This is football. Two shitty teams and I am going to be glued to the TV watching them. This is how you start football season.
Starting with Virginia Tech they are shit. The question for them this year is can Pry turn it around in year two and completely crush teams like Old Dominion. I don’t think they can. I think they win this game but I do not see a world where they score a lot of points after watching them last season. Wells is back for his last season and he has had trouble with Old Dominion in the past. They brought in some WR talent this season which they lacked last season but I think it will take some time for all of them to gel together.
Old Dominion was just as atrocious as Virginia Tech at scoring last season. Rahne is coming into his third season after shitting the bed in the second half of last season. Wilson won the QB job to start the season as a transfer from Fordham. Love that. I am betting against a Fordham QB. God bless this under. Old Dominion is going to have 0 offense. Their defense is not great but they have historically played solid defense against Virginia teams and I expect them to do the same Saturday. The dog mentality has been building all summer and I expect them to come out hitting week one.
Love it. I am getting fucked by my book here and I am getting a juiced number. It is what it is. Most books it’s close to even at 48. This is college football though.
