Winner. Winner. Winner. What a way to start the week. That was scary close though. It really should have gone over. It was pacing low the 1h but when Roach hit the buzzer three I thought it was over. I thought VT would increase the pace to match Duke in the second half because the deficit was a little bigger and they did. Duke was playing fast for the entire game. I thought it was finished in the 2h. It was pacing over for I would say around 90% of the 2h. But then it slowed down in the last three minutes. I will always remember VT and them not fouling on that last possession I really thought they would. They didn’t show up tonight at all but I hope they make the tourney since they saved my under. 14-7 now on college unders. I also escaped picking a disaster in TEX/HOU which was a similar spot and I also liked another under in TAMC/TA&MCM too and that hit so I am really starting to feel it. Villanova is currently projected in the tournament but not by much. Marquette is comfortably in. Very different seasons for both of these teams. Villanova started the season ranked and now has lost 4 in a row and is unranked. Marquette is now ranked in the top ten and and started the season unranked. They also played two weeks ago and Marquette easily won. So then why is Nova favored? Because they are going to play slow basketball and keep this one tight. Villanova has to stop this losing streak and they do that by playing defense. These teams played each other two weeks ago and combined for 161 so why is this total so low? It’s low because they know Villanova has to slow this game down. They can’t outshoot Marquette. This games goes under because Villanova limits Marquettes possessions and plays enough defense to make them shoot less that 50%. Give me this fucking under. For all of Underia 🇦🇶
