Winner. Man did I need this. I needed all of this. I missed this feeling. Skenes had just enough to get this one through. He only went five innings and gave up a decent amount of hits. Out of all the props for him this might have been the only good one for him that hit. He had a couple innings where it wasn’t easy. We had one where he got saved by a double play and another where he was saved by an out at home. It wasn’t easy but he pulled it off. I needed this win for my sanity. I needed this to know that I still had it. I also think this is the summer betting on pitchers. Outside of the bullshit loss on Frambel they have been pretty solid for me. I need a hell of a lot more of them though. Feed me more.

Groundbreaking Analysis:
I am sticking with the pitchers. I am now rooting against a pretty young average pitcher. I am betting on a pitcher with way too high of a line. This is only his second season and he doesn’t usually go six innings. He has only done it once away this season. The Blue Jays have been scoring a good amount of runs against the Yankees this series and I don’t see how that changes. Their bats are going to stay hot today. All I am asking for is for this guy to be average. His average is less than this line so I am really not asking for much. I love this pick. I love betting on someone being just average.
