Recap:
Loser. Pain. Terrible start, and it was dead. It was dead until, of course, it wasn’t—just to be dead again. In the first quarter, there was zero defense, both teams shot 70% from three, and it ended with 71 points. You can’t have a quarter like that when you’re fighting for an under in the NBA. It was terrible. It was terrible to watch in that first quarter. I couldn’t buy a miss. In the first five minutes, I don’t think there was a single miss from three. It was pretty much over after that. I stopped watching and followed solely on an app to try and bring it back. It started working, and the second quarter wasn’t terrible. I was going to need two more solid quarters. I got a great third quarter. After pacing over the entire game, it was live under this number with about nine minutes left, and the Bulls were up 25. You would think that by the end of the season, with players exhausted, they would start thinking about resting players. Nope. With six minutes left, we had the Raptors playing their reserves against the Bulls’ starters. Unbelievable. Fuck them. Fucking wankers. No class. They didn’t get pulled for another three minutes, and by that point, the damage was done by their stat-padding starters. I got killed. I got killed in the worst way. I came all the way back just to get shit on in the fourth quarter. Unbelievable.
Lock: Butler U74.5 1.5u to win 1.2u
Groundbreaking Analysis:
I am doing it. I have Stockholm Syndrome. I have a problem. I was beaten and battered by the Crown, and for some reason, I am returning to it. I can’t stand NBA basketball right now after last night’s shite loss and only one game going under on the entire slate. I am not a fan of tomorrow’s NHL slate, and I don’t know what to do with the Torpedo Bats. Not only am I back to the Crown, but I am also back to a team that fucked me this season and another team that just fucked me two days ago. This play is about conquering my demons. I lost twice and pushed on this team this season, and one of the losses was in this exact same spot with the same line. I simply don’t believe in Butler. They can only beat shite teams. They were down ten to Utah and looked like shit for most of the game, but since they were up against a team with a completely depleted roster, they were able to win. This Boise State team should have been in the tournament, and they are proving a point in this tournament just as they did when they fucked me on Monday. They are going to be all over Butler. I trust Boise State to show up on defense. The debacle on Monday wasn’t because of Boise’s defense—it was because of their scoring, and now we are able to avoid that. I love this pick. I am bumping it up. The two teams also play at a below-average pace, which should help with this high line. Boise State is here to prove something in this tournament, and they are going to clobber Butler on defense. This is the spot. The number is way too high. I get my get back. Give me this under. Under. Under. Under. For Underia. 🏴
