Winner. Defense. Defense. Defense. The rivalry came out early and this game just meant a lot. We started off great. A scoreless first quarter. The defenses were playing great defense and it was physical. Not the best second quarter but at half we were at 13. We had 39 points to work with in the second. We needed all of them. Every single point mattered in the second half. It cleared by 8 points but fuck it was not easy. The offenses started going in the third quarter and then started firing in the fourth quarter. I was terrified in that final quarter that we could get shafted. We had 29 points to work with the final quarter and it was still tight. I mean overtime was a possibility and I was not feeling great with five minutes left. Thank fuck for the interceptions. The final two interceptions absolutely saved me. No bullshit garbage time points were also avoided. Money. Absolute money. Finally some sort of positivity in college. We have more college tomorrow and we need another one. We need another hit.

I am going to the cold. A game where I also like both defenses. This is going to be a cold one as they battle for the state. There was no doubt I was going for a matchup with this situation.
