No goals for the first 15 minutes. 15 minutes without a single goal. Tampa then gets one, fine. We still had one more to work with, realistically, with this total. Well, we got a shitty one by the Sabres because the Lightning couldn’t clear with thirty seconds left. Terrible, shitty goal, and a once-perfect period turned to shit. So of course, when it rains, it pours and they scored another one with eight seconds left. Eight fucking seconds. Two goals in the final thirty seconds. Fucking brilliant. I knew I was dead after that. The Sabres couldn’t score early enough for this bet to hit. I knew the Lightning would win this game, so I was fucked. Once again, dead instantly. Not even fucking close. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m getting rinsed. I’m trying everything. I’m trying everything to get a winner, and now I’m back to shit. I’m back to struggling, struggling to win and struggling to stay positive. You can’t make up this dogshit run after a heartbreaking loss. Terrible. I’m going to do everything in my power to win tomorrow. Tomorrow feels like do or die for me. I put in effort every single day for these bets, just to get shit on for an entire week. I need to put in double the effort tomorrow. I need to pull out all the stops. I need to win again. I can’t be depressed again.

I am in need for a win. I am dying for a win. I am going to get my first win in a week and my first MLB win of the season. I put in the work for this pick and this is the best bet on the board. We have one of the best pitchers on the mound in Skubal and the Brewers are throwing out Alexander who has also started the season pretty solid. The Brewers are coming back home after a road trip in Arizona so they shouldn’t be too rested to hit the ball. The Tigers are still on their road trip after facing the Twins. Both teams struggled to score yesterday so their bats are cold. This all lines up for an under. If someone asked me, “I need an under in a baseball game pick a starting pitcher,” I’d probably go with Skubal. Now all I need is for Alexander to step up.
