Primetime Play

Lock: Alexander Mattison Over 15.5 receiving yards 1.5u to win 1.3

Groundbreaking Analysis:

I am in love with this pick. We have a player the Vikings are super high on, a very good defense, and the master of checkdowns at QB. What else can I ask for? I went deep in the hole for this one and watched a shit ton of film so if this doesn’t hit I will be hurt.

Mattison got 4 targets in week one for 3 rec and 10 yards. So it would have lost last week but it really should not have. Watching the film, Mattison caught the check downs and screen plays but the blocking did not help one bit. If he gets one good block on one of these receptions it easily hits. One of Mattison’s catches was a TD too so it would have been more yards if that’s anywhere else on the field.

The Patriots torched the Eagles in week one in rb receiving yards. Last year against the Eagles, Cook and Mattison had 11 targets. Cook who was the starter at the time had 19 yards against the Eagles and I expect Mattison who is now the lone back to surpass that. The Eagles have a phenomenal secondary too so I foresee a lot of check downs.

I expect the same game situation as last year too. Primetime Kirk will be in true form and the Vikings will be done by halftime which will cause all the deep balls to be covered and Kirk will be forced to check it down. I mean this is Kirk Cousins he is one of the check down kings in the league. 15.5 yards for their lone back should be a walk in the park.

Please send some PLP.
