Winner. Not a single goal. Not a single fucking goal. Brilliant. Another brilliant win. It was never a sweat. Argentina was competent enough on defense and Martinez was class. He was saving everything. Argentina was never scoring. They were parking the bus and they could barely touch the ball. They had 0.0 expected goals for most of the game. It was such a simple and smart play. I really should have bet it more and taken 0-0. I could not have been more right with this game. I was dead on it and it felt great. I just knew we were due for a classic stalemate and the teams matched up perfectly for one. It was the perfect way to end the World Cup. We end it with a win and I think with how it went it in the knockout rounds we may have ended positive. Fuck I am going to miss this beautiful tournament. There really isn’t anything else like it in the world.

Back to the baseball. It’s depressing as shit knowing there is no World Cup but at least we have been doing pretty good in baseball. Seriously, though post World Cup is really fucking depressing. We are going to make money here to cure it. It’s a weekday so that means I favor pitchers. We have World Series winner Flaherty on the mound. I don’t give a fuck that it’s the Cubs because he is not giving up more than two runs. He has been phenomenal in his recent starts and has gotten the job done against the Cubs as well. It’s the play. We get out of the depression by winning again here. It’s that fucking simple. Give me this under.
